About us:
Black Tent Publications is a small independent family-run business, which aims to publish books which, although excellent, may not be commercial enough in appeal to attract the interest of main-stream publishers. Authors whose books have been published by us include Paul L. Dawson, Ann Hyland, Sylvia Loch, Lesley Skipper and Anne Wilson.
Ordering books and photographs online
When ordering books and photographic prints from us please note the following:
Delivery
All items are sent by standard post (Royal Mail) or Airmail unless other delivery methods are specifically requested. We will endeavour to send books within 24 hours of receiving your order, but if, due to circumstances beyond our control, this is not possible, we will inform you of the delay within 24 hours and state when we expect to send your order. At this time you will be given the choice of whether to continue with your order or cancel it. Regrettably we have no control over delivery dates once items have been despatched, but normally we expect orders to arrive within the following time frames:
UK: 3-4 days of despatch
Europe: from 3 days of despatch (usually 3-5 days)
The rest of the world: from 5 days of despatch (actual delivery dates depend on the location)
Cancellations/refunds
If you wish to cancel an order, please let us know as soon as possible. if your order has already been dispatched, you should return it within 7 days of receipt. On receipt of the item a refund of the cost plus the original postage will be made within 48 hours.
If you wish to return an item, please let us know that you intend to do so within 7 days of receipt of the item, and the reason for the return. Any refund due will be made within 48 hours of receipt of the item.
Personal information
Black Tent Publications do not store personal information other than for the purpose of keeping financial records. We do not store financial details (credit or debit card numbers) of individuals, and no personal information will be made available to any third party.
